Decorative Bowls – Large

Description

Our decorative bowls make lovely house warming gifts, 30th wedding gifts and Christmas gifts.

Handmade in porcelain and finished in a lovely pearly glaze, these decorative bowls look perfect in any setting.

These porcelain bowls measures approx 13cm diameter 7.5cm high. Each bowl can vary due to the handmade nature of the product.

These bowls can be personalised with a special message making an extra special gift.

How our Decorative Bowls are Made:

Each porcelain bowl is slipcast – the process of pouring liquid porcelain clay in to handmade plaster molds.

Once the bowl comes out of its mold it is finished by hand and left to dry. When dry the bowls are biscuit fired, clear glaze is applied and then they are high fired. Finally mother of pearl lustre is applied and the bowls have a 3rd firing.

The pearl lustre on the interior of these bowls creates a lovely contrast with the unglazed white clay exterior of the bowl.

Once our decorative bowls are finished they are packaged in our branded gift boxes perfect to send direct to your recipient.
